We are a family. North Shore ensures to have a good relationship not only with the students but also with the parents. Lower School in McLean County.
Continually refining our answer to that question has helped us to grow and evolve with purpose and passion. Both are visible everywhere when you visit our campus or see our program in action.
When you do, you’ll see engaged, curious, kind, and smart students thriving under the guidance and care of talented, dedicated teachers. You’ll see a JK-12 community learning together on a beautiful campus. That community is the foundation upon which we’ve built a school where everyone can feel safe to be themselves, to strive and to stretch, to “Live and Serve.”

Working at North Shore is both wonderfully challenging and rewarding. Our faculty and administration ask a great deal of themselves just as they ask much from their students.
In doing so they discover their passions and strengths, developing critical skills that carry them successfully into college and beyond.
We push our students to participate widely and take risks regularly, ensuring they stretch, explore, stumble, and grow.
There are no spectators at NSCD. Active participation in academic, artistic, athletic and service activities promotes the adaptive intellectual and emotional skills we value.
Truly knowing our students allows us to challenge and support them as individual people and learners.
Constantly building bridges within and beyond our diverse JK-12 community helps us understand ourselves, each other and our world.
They become self-confident, ethical citizens of the world who embody our motto, "Live and Serve."
This activity is geared for our campers ages 4 – 6 years. It is an exploration of singing, dancing, acting and role-playing. Campers participate as a group in a wide range of creative activities.
Transportation assignments will be mailed the first week of June. No transportation requests or changes will be accepted after May 15.
Our program will also introduce campers to the culinary world, giving them the opportunity to develop basic skills that will build the foundation to cook and create culinary treasures with proficiency throughout their entire life.
