224-286-6798Campers learn basic boating and seamanship before taking to the water. With a three camper to one instructor ratio, campers learn to boat in an individualized setting.
For our campers ages 8 – 10 years, the Day Camp offers instruction in boating.
This program is for our campers ages 7 – 10 years and emphasizes an awareness of nature. As a group, campers learn skills that emphasize teamwork and trust. As a part of the program, campers are given instruction in rock climbing.

North Shore Country Day School first brochure printed for the 1920-1921 school year, discussed the Country Day School Plan and expressed the importance of the grounds, "with beautiful old trees, masses of shrubbery and stretches of lawn" that provided the "ideal surroundings for child development.
North Shore Country Day School has Live+Serve Lab. The Live+Serve Lab is at once a makerspace, a laboratory, and a hub for hands-on service. It is not only a project space for smaller ideas and short-term solutions.
